An old murder incident involving a group who ran an illegal broadcasting station brings together different people - a mysterious errand guy "Healer" who possesses disguise and fighting skills, a reporter from a second-rate tabloid, and a famous journalist. They will have to deal with the cruel conflict of truth versus faith.

Healer is a drama full of suspense, action, comedy, and romance. The story is a modern twist to our typical heroes. Main character of the drama is healer who is played by Ji Chang Wook. He is a mysterious errand guy who is hired by various people for different tasks. He is famous for being someone that can take or destroy anything that you want for a well-paid price. The one thing that he has never done or will do is to kill someone. That’s a rule he lives by. He has a hacker partner too.

One of the jobs he is hired for is to find a long-lost child (girl). For this job, he has to collect a DNA sample to confirm the identity. He found a girl and he thought that it’ll be easy to take one hair from the girl, but she was tougher than he expected. She tried to fight him too and that was the first time that she met Healer.

He is given that job by a very famous reporter. He found the girl. Her name is Chae Young Shin. This character is played by Park Min Young. Anyhow, he was able to get a DNA sample and after the DNA test, it was confirmed that this is the girl healer was asked to find.

After finding the girl, healer gets a follow up request from the famous reporter, namely Kim Moo Ho. This role is played by Yoo Ji Tae. To do the follow up task, healer transforms into Park Bong Su. His change of character from healer to Park Bong Su is phenomenal. The story takes many twists and turns from this point onwards.

Why is reporter looking for that girl? What happens after the transformation of Healer to Park Bong Su? If Chae Young Shin is a lost child, then who is she living with? What is her story then? Why is healer doing this errand guy job? What is his story? Earlier who is being referred as a group who runs an illegal broadcasting station? Who was murdered? What is the story there? To find those out answers to all these questions, you have to watch the drama. This series has one season with a total of 20 episodes and it’s available on Netflix and many other platforms such as dramacool, etc.

Acting skills of all the actors in this drama are amazing. The main characters had great chemistry. One cannot help themselves but love this cute dorky pair. you have to have a little patience for the mystery to unravel. I must say overall it's a great drama, no unnecessary breakups, and melodrama between the couple. Other characters are really well written too. great action scenes even if the ending is a little bit rushed. And last but not least, this the OST of this drama is amazing. it is simply a cherry on top for this drama.

I would definitely recommend this drama for a new specially for newbie Kdrama viewers. I consider this a classic drama of the last decade. Please watch it, you will not regret the time you spent.
